BAFATEX donates 750 kg of Cotton Yarn to the Ukraine
The BAFATEX Bellingroth GmbH & Co. KG supports Ukraine with a donation of 750 kilograms of cotton yarn from its stocks..
Through her studies at Reutlingen University, BAFATEX-Managing Director Astrid Keyser is always connected to her alma mater.
When the “Agency for Sustainable Development ASTAR” contacted the university to organise aid for Ukraine, BAFATEX did not hesitate and donated 750 kilograms of high-quality cotton yarn from its the pre-material stocks for laid scrims.

The yarns were supplied to the “textile cluster” of the Oblast (Provinz) Chmelnyzkyj. Seven textile processing companies are involved in this cluster, which immediately produced socks from them. The socks went to poor people and members of the territorial defence.
The companies of the textile cluster are enthusiastic about the quality of the yarns and grateful for the quick help.
